Daniel Friedli is a Partner and the Managing Director at Travel in Motion. He is a solution driven travel industry consultant with extensive knowledge of the passenger airline and air travel domain. Daniel works with airlines and other entities in the travel value chain, as well as the IT vendors serving them. He focuses on the development of commercial strategies, airline distribution, retailing and customer experience, the airline transformation to Offers and Order, dynamic offering as well as Passenger Services related business processes. Through workshops and close interaction with the customer, Daniel and Travel in Motion work with the customers in analysing the challenges at hand, creating business strategies and translating those into viable business solutions.
Daniel offers training to airlines through in-person courses on the topic of airline distribution and retailing. In the past, Daniel was an instructor for IATA’s NDC training programme.
Mona is an Airline Retailing Consultant at Travel in Motion, where she brings her expertise and passion for revolutionising the industry. As the TIM Academy Product Manager, she oversees the administration and content creation for the Academy. With a background encompassing various facets of the aviation sector, Mona is a specialist in offer and order management systems and customer-centric servicing interfaces. Her extensive operational and management experience spans across airline IT vendors, airlines themselves, airports, and travel agencies.
Thibaud, a French national living in Finland, started his industry journey by working in Amadeus. He was, at first, focused on the pricing engine. Then, he discovered NDC through an IATA hackathon, and quickly joined the Amadeus Altea NDC team. After heading the NDC team there, he moved on to Finnair as an NDC expert, taking on the role of Applications Lead. He is now an airline retailing consultant at Travel in Motion, specialising in NDC, Offer and Order management.
Leila is an Associate Consultant at Travel in Motion. She brings more than seven years of consulting and financial advisory experience from PwC and Deloitte. Leila has been supporting TiM since 2024 with her consulting skill set gained on various client-facing projects.
Urs is a consultant with many years of experience in the online payment sector. As one of the co-founders and co-owners, he worked for Datatrans - the leading Swiss payment service provider - for 20 years in various areas. From 2001 to 2006, Urs was mainly responsible for technical customer support and customer administration (onboarding and billing). From 2007, parts of the product management were transferred to him. At the same time, he also took over the technical and administrative support of major customers in the retail, public transport, ticketing, travel and airline sectors.
As Datatrans' customer base grew, his focused shifted to the travel and airline sector.
With the sale of the company in November 2021, he left Datatrans AG. Since then, he has been working as a payment process consultant for Travel in Motion. His focus remains on the travel and airline sector.

Sales and marketing positions at two major airlines were followed by sales and customer management responsibilities at one of the leading aviation IT providers and a time as Chief Information Officer at a medium size international airline.
